Cruising on the navigli Channels
After 900 years the Navigli navigation system reopens its itineraries to all Milanese and foreign visitors and unveals its secluded charm amongst abbeys, villas, and functioning dams conceived by the genius of Leonardo da Vinci.
The offer is bookable for Saturdays and Sundays in additon to the "Weekend in Milan" rate and allows you to book tickets for the excursion.
The trip lasts 1 hour and will plunge you in the very past of Milan:
- the Great Naviglio channel, the launderers lane, the bridges and houses of the old times.
- the Darsena (ancient fluvial harbour) and its history
- the "Pavese" Naviglio and its function
- the Conchetta (fluvial dam) and its operation
Hourly departures are scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
